They make it a portfolio rather than a single performance. Internal standards banked early are safe, which lowers the stakes of November — but only if you actually bank them, and that is a planning problem.
Are endorsements worth chasing?
Merit and Excellence endorsements need 50 credits at that grade across the year, so they reward consistent quality rather than a strong finish. For competitive courses they carry real weight; for others they are a nice-to-have, and it is worth being clear which case you are in.
Do you cover University Entrance requirements?
